Wrote... Great website with a lot of informative stuff. I'm having a really tough time with our little Brownie who is 6 months old. She showed all the signs of dehydration you mentioned and her eyes were closed. We took her to the vet and he sent us home with subQ fluids. He gave her a pain shot and assumed she might be impacted as her nose wasn't red and he couldn't hear any type of upper respiratory infection. However, he felt hard material in her intestines. We're giving her the subQs, oral fluids every 10-20 minutes with a few drops of Gatorade, an antibiotic one drop a day, and we have her in a corner with a gooseneck lamp on her. But 5 days later, she's no better and no worse. She's skinny as can be and I only wish I could help her. I have noticed the reddish mucous coming out of her eyes a couple of times. If you have any suggestions, please let me know. Thank you.
